Intergenerational Music Therapy

About Intergenerational Music Therapy

Intergenerational Music Therapy sessions combine children, we call them Little Friends, and older adults, Grandfriends, to participate in music-based activities. The program works to bridge the gap between generations while improving attitudes and interactions between the two groups, as well as promote physical activity, intellectual ability and overall improvements in quality of life. We know that Little Friends bring an endless amount of energy and excitement, with more than enough to share with their Grandfriends.
