Individual Music Therapy

About individual Music Therapy

Individual music therapy sessions are designed using the person-centered approach to reach non-musical goals that can be generalized into everyday life skills. Children and adults are encouraged to express themselves musically while simultaneously targeting and meeting their specific goals. These goals include, but are not limited to improving behavioral skills, encouraging self-expression, generalized educational goals, increasing communication and socialization skills and promoting self-awareness.
